FREIDA ROTHMAN FALL 2019
An Ode to Creativity
The Fall 2019 campaign for FREIDA ROTHMAN’s Industrial Finish collection was inspired by the bold female creatives in our community. We highlighted designer Freida Rothman, alongside two Brooklyn-based female creatives we admire, to celebrate their craft and expertise as they pioneer innovation in their respective industries. CASSANDRA DOTZEL
Textile Designer & Artist
While family originating from Brooklyn, Cassandra has always felt connected to this eclectic city. Born in Korea, and raised on Long Island, the past five years living in Brooklyn has afforded her many opportunities as an artist. Cassandra began her journey only drawing portraits in mechanical pencil but has grown into a designer who relies on her gut instinct and aspiration to tell a visual story. Painting and drawing have been constants throughout her life, which is why she chose a career in textile design at a wall-covering company based in Industry City, Brooklyn where she is continuing her growth of innovative art in the textile industry.
“I really just love creating. I aspire to visually tell stories, inspired by life, humanity, culture, and the beauty in everything.”
